Dalarna

Many of the things that people consider as truly Swedish, in and outside the country, have their origin and home in the province of Dalarna. Its people, culture and geography attracted artists and authors from other parts of Sweden and Europe, as early as the turn of the century. The environment still make people visit Dalarna and the hospitable people make them all welcome. Dalarna has several museums where the old way of life can be studied.
Gotland

Gotland is an island situated in the centre of the Baltic Sea, 90 kilometers from the Swedish mainland. The first Stone Age settlers came to Gotland about 7 000 years ago, and many traces of their dwelling-places can still be seen. In the Middle Ages the town Visby played a key role in Baltic Sea trade. Almost 60 000 people residence on Gotland year round and during summer the amount of visitors reaches almost a million. Few regions of comparable size can offer as many sights and leisure-time activities as Gotland.
Gästrikland

Gästrikland is situated north of Uppland and south of Hälsingland. That is right between the southern and northern parts of Sweden. It is commonly known as The Gateway to the North and if you spend some time in the province, you will realise why.
